This is a hands-on role for someone who loves coffee, enjoys engaging with guests, and is committed to maintaining high service and quality standards. If you have a passion for specialty coffee and want to be part of a team that values excellence, this is the role for you!

About This Role: This is a part-time position with a fixed schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM to 12:15 AM. You’ll be head barista, delivering exceptional coffee to private clients in a consistent and high-quality service environment. The site is currently undergoing a service trial and would be looking to create a small permanent coffee cart at their head office. This role offers the opportunitity to do more events during the week and on weekends if desired.

What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing and serving high-quality specialty coffee with consistency and care.

Providing outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly café atmosphere.

Ensuring efficient workflow during peak service times, managing high-volume coffee service.

Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.

Operating and maintaining espresso machines and grinders to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborating with the office team to enhance the overall customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

At least 1 year of barista experience in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Strong coffee-making skills, including dialing in espresso, milk texturing, and latte art.

Passion for specialty coffee and an understanding of industry best practices.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work well solo and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
