About the role

We are seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our team at Bay Gallery Furniture in Penrith, NSW. This full-time position is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our high-quality furniture products to our customers across the region.

What you'll be doing

Operate MR trucks to deliver furniture items to customers

Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner

Available to do interstate truck runs once a week when required (overnight, sometimes 2 nights) allowance given.

Long hours twice a week, available to do ACT, South Coast, CC, NC.

Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

Provide excellent customer service and liaise with customers on delivery

Ensure vehicles are kept clean, well-maintained and roadworthy

Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and safety requirements

What we're looking for

MR truck licence and at least 2 years' experience as an MR truck driver

Knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures

Excellent driving skills and a strong focus on safety

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliability and a commitment to punctuality
