About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated team at the Star of the Sea Aged Care facility in Wallaroo, South Australia. As an Enrolled Nurse in our aged care residential facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our elderly residents. This is a part-time / casual position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Assisting registered nurses in the delivery of nursing care to residents

Monitoring resident health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes to the registered nurse

Administering medications in line with facility policies and procedures

Documenting resident care and progress in line with facility requirements

Actively participating in the development and implementation of resident care plans

Providing personal care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living

Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents

What we're looking for

Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

Demonstrated experience in an aged care or similar healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
