Protech have positions upcoming for Civil Pipelayers working on various large and small scale projects, subdivisions and local government aligned works throughout the mid north coast, with one of the leaders of the civil industry in NSW & QLD. Positions will be based out of Coffs Harbour with work at this stage projected to go for a minimum of 5 years.

Rates will vary however will begin at approximately $50hr and increase from there dependant on the level of experience.
Various allowances and overtime will also apply.

The role:

• Excavating and preparing trenches for pipe installation
• Laying, aligning, and joining various types of pipes, including water, sewer, and drainage pipes
• Backfilling and compacting trenches to ensure the stability and integrity of the pipeline
• Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

What you will need:

• Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar construction role
• White Card
• Proficiency in the use of pipelaying equipment and tools
• Strong attention to detail
• A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of construction site safety protocols
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Machinery licences and experience highly desired
