Location: Tullamarine
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $33.69 per hour

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator for an air freight handling role with a global leader in freight forwarding and logistics, based in Tullamarine.

The position involves safely loading and unloading air cargo, managing freight in a fast-paced environment, and ensuring timely processing of shipments.
The ideal candidate will have a current LF license, strong attention to detail, and experience in air freight or logistics

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts (LF license required)
• Pick and pack goods accurately
• Perform repetitive manual handling of items up to 20kg
• Assist with freight forwarding operations
• Handle general warehouse duties as needed
• Work in ambient and fridge temperature environments
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Requirements:

• Current LF license with at least 1 year of proven forklift driving experience
• Freight forwarding experience is a must (Air Freight experience an advantage)
• Background in logistics is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage time efficiently
• Willingness to obtain a police check
• Experience with WMS systems is an advantage
