The Opportunity:

We are looking for a full-time forklift driver for day shift.

Role: FORKLIFT DRIVER

Location: Somerton, MELBOURNE

Expected Hours of Work: MON 7am - 3:30pm THURS - FRI 7am - 3pm

= 38 HOURS PER WEEK (OVERTIME AVAILABLE)

The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

• Locate, move and position caravans to allow work to be performed
• Ensure vans, parts and deliveries are checked for damage prior to loading and receiving.
• Ensure all parts, materials and vans are dispatched efficiently and packaged safety.
• Pre-delivery checks for all vans before they get sent out
• General cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse
• Preparing next day materials/ consumables for production
• Emptying of bulk bins in preparation for collection next day.

About you:

• Must have valid LF forklift license counter balance, high reach & car license
• At least one year’s experience using a forklift
• Be able to work in all types of weather conditions, such as rain or sunny days
• Ability to learn new tasks efficiently & be able to take instructions
• Strong work ethic
• Strong awareness and focus on Occupational Workplace Health & Safety
