About the Role

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and reliable Site Assistant to help keep our busy car wash facility running smoothly. This is a casual position, working 3 to 5 days per week, depending on your availability and fit for the role.

You won’t be hand-washing cars — instead, you’ll be ensuring our site is clean, stocked, functional, and our customers are happy. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, likes to stay active.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your tasks will vary day-to-day, but will generally include:

Refilling car wash detergents and checking levels regularly

Cleaning and hosing down car wash bays and surrounds

Cleaning and maintaining dog wash stations

General site cleaning (bins, paths, vending areas)

Refilling and maintaining water/ice vending machine

Performing daily maintenance checks on all equipment

Reporting or assisting with minor repairs and breakdowns

Stocktaking cleaning/chemical products

Assisting customers with using equipment and troubleshooting issues

Ensuring the site is tidy, safe and running smoothly

Monitoring site performance and reporting any unusual activity

What We’re Looking For

We are after someone who is dependable, friendly and able to work independently. The ideal applicant would be:

Fit and healthy – the job requires walking, lifting and bending

Reliable and punctual – this is non-negotiable

Comfortable working solo and taking initiative

Customer-focused with good communication skills

Positive and approachable attitude

Able to work safely and follow procedures
