About the role

Patto's Earthworx is seeking an experienced Excavator/posi track loader operator to join our team on a full time casual basis in Parkes, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for operating Excavators, Skid Steer Loaders to support our construction projects. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of construction site operations and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

Operate 1.8t - 15t excavators and posi track loaders to grade, and prepare construction sites

Load and unload materials using excavators and posi track loaders

Conduct daily Pre-Start checks

Take ownership of machinery including, washing, greasing, minor maintenance and daily upkeep of machinery

Assist with loading and unloading of machinery for transport

Work independently

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

2 years minimum experience plus certificate of competency

GPS/UTS Experience using Trimble Earthworks desirable but not essential

Ability to read and interpret site plans and designs

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Current construction industry white card and driver's licence

Roller, heavy rigid truck experience desirable but not essential
