We are seeking a full-time Cert III/ Diploma qualified Child Care Worker to work with us in our family owned childcare centre in Randwick. Our centre is purpose-built and offers quality care to 55 children a day, 5 days per week. This position is for our Senior Room (aged 3-5 Years). You will be fully supported in your role and offered professional development opportunities. This is a full time ongoing position, ideal for someone that can commit long term in our strive for consistency within the service.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in this role. They will have strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality standards.
Essential qualifications needed for the position are:
Cert III/ Diploma qualification (ACECQA approved)
First aid / CPR / Asthma and Anaphylaxis training and current certification (or willingness to obtain)
Current Working with Children Check
The Role
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Supporting the setup of materials and equipment for educational and recreational activities for children.
Managing and guiding children's behavior to promote positive social development.
Organizing and leading various activities for children's engagement and learning.
Keeping children entertained through storytelling and interactive games.
Overseeing children's participation in recreational activities to ensure safety and fun.
Monitoring and supporting the daily routines and activities of children.
Ensuring proper hygiene practices are followed by children throughout the day.

About Learn and Laugh Children's Centre
Learn & Laugh is custom-designed and purpose-built to meet the emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of young children. Children and parents enter our building through a foyer area that features the children's work and leads into our parent meeting area. This area is where Parents can meet and spend periods of time with their children before and after their time at Learn & Laugh. Our Foyer area also includes an office and resource room.
Our Centre is accessed through a security protected door, which requires visitors and parents to "BUZZ" and identify themselves prior to gaining access to the building. The Foyer is where you will find parent communication pockets, and other forms of communication with families.
