Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care
As a Registered Nurse in Aged Care, you’ll provide vital nursing services in a supportive health service environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to grow from a novice practitioner to a proficient professional, enhancing your skills and knowledge through continuous development and hands-on experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess individual patient needs and coordinate service delivery from various options, including other disciplines or agencies.
- Provide direct, person-centered nursing care and case management on a shift-by-shift basis, gaining increasing autonomy.
- Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines to meet individual health care needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and minimise risks.
- Serve as ward/team leader as needed, supporting staff and coordinating patient care.
- Contribute to procedures for managing challenging behaviours effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Proven ability to demonstrate competence in nursing practice, adhering to the relevant standards of care.
- Experienced in using computer software packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
