Are you passionate about road safety and developing others? We’re looking for a dedicated Driver Trainer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring our drivers are skilled, compliant, and confident on the road.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments of new, existing, and subcontracted drivers to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.

Deliver driver inductions, ongoing training, mentoring, and upskilling programs.

Perform site risk assessments and compliance visits, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Identify and address training gaps, unsafe behaviours, or performance issues proactively.

Collaborate with operations and other departments to coordinate training needs.

Maintain accurate and timely driver training records.

Assist in the development and review of training materials and procedures.

Key Requirements

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain), OR 8+ years of heavy vehicle driving experience.

Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and NHVR regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Current and valid heavy vehicle licence (MC preferred).

Forklift licence desirable.

Experience with A-double combinations is highly regarded.
