Station Cook – Leopold Downs Station
Our beautiful and remote location in the Kimberley Western Australia will see you being the Cook at our Homestead in Leopold Downs, a cattle station managed by the Pardoo Wagyu. Cooking for around 16 employees, visitors and contractors, providing three wholesome homecooked meals a day. You’ll be responsible for the menus and the kitchen is your domain. Split shifts work best for this role, meaning you get to explore and take in your surroundings during your time in between or just relax.
Some of your responsibilities will be:-
Catering to a range of dietary requirements, including allergies or intolerances as required;
Ordering stores;
Preparing 3 meals a day, including lunch items for staff to create their own lunch boxes; and
Keeping the kitchen and dining area organised, clean, and tidy.
You’ll be someone who:
Can plan and organise;
Able to work safely both independently as well as part of a team;
Can menu plan and provide wholesome food;
Can communicate effectively;
Is committed to a positive health and safety culture; and
Ability to work and live in a remote location.
