The Role

Due to on-going business growth, we are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join full-time in our busy Machine Shop.

What You?ll Be Doing:

The role will require programming and operating of CNC Lathes and CNC Mills, Specifically Okuma and Mazak controls

The work consists of small to medium production runs with some one-off and jobbing work.

What You?ll Need

Trade qualified Machinist or Fitter and Turner

Minimum 5 years of experience programming and operating CNC Lathes in a jobbing shop type environment

Previous experience with Mazak and Okuma controls is desirable but not essential

Ability to read drawings, write programs and set CNC machines accordingly

Maintain production of high-quality components

Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, busy and demanding work environment that respond to set work and client breakdowns

Experience working in a workshop environment within a manufacturing business

Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team

Willing and able to impart their technical knowledge to others

A strong work ethic with a commitment to attendance

A positive attitude towards safety

Reliable, punctual and well-presented; and

Willing to work overtime as required ?
