We are seeking an experienced water industry professional ready to take the next step to join our team delivering essential services across SA Water’s infrastructure. About the Role
Partner with SA Water in a dynamic role that blends office and field work. Support the delivery of projects independently while working with a supportive a crew, and with structured planning, you know when the work gets done.
Working on some of South Australia’s most critical infrastructure and in partnership with SA Water, our dedicated team ensures the smooth operation of vital water assets along major and minor roads and across diverse worksites. You'll contribute to essential services that keep the state’s network running—prepping jobs, coordinating site readiness, and supporting delivery that meets key performance targets. Expect variety on every job, scheduled works comes with plenty of overtime (including nights and weekends), and the chance to gain real-world experience in a high-profile environment.
Whether you're preparing worksites, coordinating crews, or ensuring delivery meets high standards, you'll play a pivotal role in projects that matter.
What You’ll Do
Lead site investigations, valve and service impact assessments, and pre-delivery reviews
Coordinate crews, materials to keep everything running smoothly
Support crews on-site for real delivery of upgrades and improvements
Coordinate safe work zones including traffic and pedestrian management
Conduct pre-starts, safety checks, and inspections
Handle permits, paperwork, and contractor coordination with ease

What We’re Looking For
Background in civil construction or trades (plumbing a plus!)
Tech-savvy—comfortable using apps and field tools
Safety-first mindset and great at sticking to standards
White Card and a valid driver’s licence (HR? Even better!)
Self-starter who can lead or support a crew with confidence
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
Reliable, physically fit, and takes pride in doing the job right
