Hydraulics Steels Australia Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated Company. We are a stockist and supplier of precision steels to support the Hydraulic Cylinder manufacture and Hydraulic Cylinder repair markets. We stock a large range of Honed & Un-honed Cylinder Tube, High Tensile Chrome Plated Bar, High Tensile Induction Hardened Chrome Plated Bar, Cold Drawn Seamless Hydraulic Line Tube and Hollow Bar. We carry sizes of steel that target specific OEM machines that service the Mining, Transport, Waste, Agriculture, Forestry and Construction Industries.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity is on offer to join our growing business. We are looking for an Experienced Warehouse Storeman to cut and pack a range of steel to bolster our experienced team. Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, this role requires a self motivated and enthusiastic person who enjoys a fast paced environment.

The fundamental responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:

Bandsaw Operation- cutting steel and ensuring paperwork is filled in correctly

Inventory/stock control- Debundle stock and label steel correctly with, size, grade, job number and paint the ends of the bars correctly as per HSA’s colour chart

Provide feedback to supervisor on improvements to RTP/Zebra guns

Clean bandsaws and general area using swarf brushes, brooms and dustpans

Forklift operation (license required)

Overhead crane operation (training provided)

Assist despatching of goods

ABOUT YOU

You will be required to bring the following skills and experience to the role:

Maintain a safe and healthy workplace

Good communication skills

Ability to adapt to the current business systems that we operate

High level of attention to detail

Good level of Computer skills

Must have a current drivers license & forklift license (training can be provided)
