Goulburn Valley Health (GV Health) is the primary public health service for the Goulburn Valley region, with a catchment population of over 200,000. The Shepparton campus is the acute care hub, featuring a 400+ bed facility and offering a wide range of clinical services including emergency, intensive care, surgery, mental health, womens and childrens health, and rehabilitation. The Emergency Department itself sees approximately 40,00050,000 presentations annually, with a broad case mix and excellent consultant support. GV Health is affiliated with the University of Melbourne and supports teaching, research, and rural training pathways, making it a strong professional environment for FACEMs who enjoy leadership and mentorship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide specialist emergency care in a high-acuity ED

Lead and supervise junior medical staff

Support patient flow and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Fellowship with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM)

General Registration with AHPRA

Previous regional/rural experience desirable

Strong leadership and communication skills
