Position: Economics Teacher
Workload FTE: Full Time
Employment Basis: Fixed Term Contract
from 1 August 2025 until 5 December 2025
The Role

Selection Criteria
Demonstrated experience teaching Economics in a secondary school setting, with an understanding of the QCE syllabus and assessment requirements.
Capacity to teach Senior Legal Studies and/or Business will be highly regarded, with the ability to engage students across a range of academic abilities.
Proven ability to deliver engaging, differentiated, and evidence-based teaching practices that support student learning and achievement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that supports both academic and personal development.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, contribute to faculty planning, and adapt to the evolving needs of the school.
Eligibility Requirements: All teachers are expected to have their registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
