The Company

We’re partnering with a leading, employee-owned professional services firm to recruit a Senior Accounts Payable Officer on a temporary-to-permanent basis. With $100m+ in annual revenue and a national presence, the business is recognised for its strong values, collaborative culture, and continued growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in day-to-day AP while supporting a major system upgrade. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team with the flexibility to work from home several days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Process 50–100 invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and correct approvals

Prepare weekly payment runs and assist with banking tasks

Maintain vendor records and manage the AP inbox

Support ERP system upgrade and help streamline AP processes

Perform monthly credit card reconciliations

Partner with project managers to ensure compliance and support business needs

About You:

Immediately available to start

Proven senior AP experience, ideally in a professional services or project-based environment

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience with process improvement

Accounting qualification (degree or cert) preferred
