ACT Recycling is a family owned Recycling company located at Mugga Resource Management Centre, which specialises in managing and recycling construction and demolition waste.

Using a range of heavy equipment and earthmoving machinery, we operate a crushing plant which processes concrete, brick and asphalt to make a range of recycled products and we also sort and recycle construction and demolition waste using a fixed sorting plant.

On site we also operate a range of mobile plant including stackers, screens, mobile crushers, excavators, loaders and trucks.

About the role

The role will require the successful applicant to primarily maintain and repair conveyor belt systems and fixed plant on site. They will also be required to conduct welding and fabrication tasks onsite to mobile and fixed plant, as well as regular Maintenace modifications throughout the site.

The successful applicant must be experienced in repairing and maintaining fixed plant and equipment particularly conveyer systems.

Saturday shifts and overtime available when required.

Responsibilities and experience:

• A High level of experience in repairing and maintaining conveyor belts, screening and crushing systems is required.
• Experience working with trucks and heavy earthmoving equipment would be highly regarded.
• Competent welding and fabrication skills required.
• High level of understanding of the concepts of preventative maintenance and diagnostic skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Able to work individually and as a team.
• Work with a strong commitment to WHS and safe work practices.
• Forklift license, Working at Heights, Dogmen, First Aid would be highly regarded.
