Our young and very dynamic Australian client has rapidly established itself at the forefront of cyber protection, delivering outcome-driven solutions to mid-to-large organisations nationally. They want every Australian business to have access to world-class cyber security without upfront infrastructure costs or vendor up-selling. Their model is built on trust, service-first values, and genuine technical care (all based on Australian soil). If you're passionate about proactive security and building trusted partnerships this may be the opportunity you've been looking for.
As such, they are looking to appoint a high energy, consultative and strategic sales professional from within the cyber security industry to take ownership of the sales process, lead the growth charge and help them open some new doors and build their presence here. The ideal candidate will be a local Brisbanite who has a really solid, established network themselves, especially in the mid-market space, around 200-2,000 seats.
Skills & Experience:
Solid experience in the cyber security space combined with the technical nous to comprehend solutions and strategic approaches for customised sales engagements as the focus will be on selling consulting or managed security services.
Adaptability and flexibility with regards to the challenges of being part of a medium-sized and growing business.
Driven to meet targets, a self-starter capable of maintaining enthusiasm and energy and operating fairly autonomously.
An absolute team player ('sales is a team sport') who will build strong relationships internally with the technical and delivery teams as well as externally with the market.
Proficiency in the Microsoft suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Excited to take ownership of new business growth within a high-performance culture.
This is very much a hands-on role for an outstanding cyber security sales professional who is looking for flexibility, and a varied and interesting role working with super smart, super focused people. This will be an exciting time of growth, Brisbane is pretty much a greenfield opportunity and there is real scope here for both career progression along with genuine and generous financial rewards. They reward longevity and you maintain the relationships with the new business you bring in. The office is in the CBD but there is flexibility around a hybrid model for the right person.
