Maranatha House is a not-for-profit, 80-bed residential aged care facility committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care. We support our residents to live meaningful, active lives in a safe and supportive environment. Our care includes general ageing care and dedicated support for residents with memory loss and dementia.

We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced Aged Care Workers / Personal Carers to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about aged care, take initiative, and enjoy making genuine connections with older people.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.

Administer care in accordance with individual care plans, under the direction of Registered Nurses and Care Managers.

Accurately document care provided and monitor changes in resident health or wellbeing.

Support residents to take prescribed medications (as appropriate to role and training).

Promote dignity, respect, independence, and choice in all aspects of resident care.

Build rapport with residents by taking a genuine interest in their lives and wellbeing.

Participate in and help lead individual and group lifestyle and engagement activities.

Respond appropriately to safety, behavioural, or medical incidents.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, residents’ families, and external providers.

About You:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent – essential.

Previous experience in residential aged care is highly regarded.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and resident dignity.

Basic computer literacy for care documentation.
