Yarraville SDS is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a hands-on role supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them thrive in their learning and daily lives.

Respond to Selection Criteria:

Demonstrated ability to support students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a school or therapy setting.

Knowledge of sensory integration and functional skill development, including strategies to support self-care, regulation, and participation in daily school activities.

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, education support staff, and families, to develop and implement individualised programs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to contribute to student planning, write reports, and liaise with staff and parents in a respectful and clear manner.

A genuine interest in and commitment to inclusive, student-centred education that promotes independence, engagement, and meaningful participation for all learners.
