Our client is an established Accounting firm located in Fortitude Valley and has an excellent reputation in the industry by taking client care and team culture very seriously.
About the Role
This full-time position offers a broad range of responsibilities and is tailored to a self-motivated individual with a genuine passion for providing a high standard of customer service. You are a self-starter that thrives in an autonomous environment - no micromanagement here!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing ATO administration and lodging relevant documents
- Welcoming clients with professionalism and handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently
- Liaising with the ATO on ad hoc matters and managing related communications
- Assisting with reporting and data management
- Scheduling jobs and managing workflow pipelines, including WIP tracking
- Providing support to the broader accounting team as needed
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be highly motivated, dependable, and committed to delivering your best work across all areas of the firm. You’re someone who thrives with minimal supervision, is comfortable working autonomously, and can hit the ground running particularly as you’ll be helping to clear a backlog of work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time role, with the flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week. Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to self-motivate are essential. To be considered, you will have:
- Recent experience in a customer service or administrative capacity within a professional services environment is essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with both internal colleagues and external clients
- Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance processes
- Confidence navigating multiple systems, especially during times of change
- The ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively
- A proactive, flexible attitude with a genuine desire to contribute to team and client success
