About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Dr Jai Eye Centre in Gladstone, Queensland as an Admin, Nurse and Clinical professional on a casual basis. In this varied role, you will provide administrative support, nursing care, and clinical assistance to the medical practitioners and patients. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the practice and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating with other healthcare providers

Nurse will assist with clinical procedures and patient care, assisting with eye injections and providing basic nursing care.

Contribute to the overall clinical operations of the practice, supporting the medical team in delivering effective and efficient patient care

Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised clinical environment

Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes

Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and ongoing professional development

What we're looking for

Relevant nursing qualifications and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Experience in a similar administrative, nursing, or clinical role within a healthcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail

Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a professional, compassionate, and empathetic approach

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment
