Sydney Restaurant Group is on the lookout for a driven, polished, and highly organised Sales & Events Executive to join our dynamic team.

This is a standout opportunity for someone who thrives on converting leads into unforgettable experiences — from waterfront weddings to high-end corporate events. You’ll be the key contact for clients from first enquiry to event execution, driving revenue and building long-term relationships across our portfolio of Sydney’s most iconic venues.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Sales & Events Manager, you’ll take ownership of:

Responding to and converting event enquiries into confirmed bookings

Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (corporate, private, agency, community.

Owning the full sales cycle - responding to enquiries, conduct venue tours, write proposals, and close deals with clients to plan every detail of their event

Coordinating internally with venue teams to ensure seamless execution

Managing CRM and booking systems, updating run sheets and reports

Building strong, ongoing client relationships to drive repeat business

Meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets

About You

You’re confident, client-focused, and passionate about hospitality. You’re just as comfortable on the phone as you are leading a venue walkthrough or managing logistics behind the scenes.

You’ll bring:

1–2+ years in event sales or coordination (hospitality background preferred)

Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to hit targets

Excellent written and verbal communication

A warm, professional phone manner and strong interpersonal skills

Outstanding organisational and time management abilities

Immaculate presentation and attention to detail

Competency with Microsoft Office; CRM or event software experience is a plus (Tripleseat, Restaurant Diary)

A genuine love for weddings, events & hospitality

A valid NSW driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
