Subway Shamim Group is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our team in the Brisbane metropolitan area (Sunshine coast, CBD, Logan and Bayside). This role is ideal for a professional, highly motivated, operations-focused individual with previous management experience, who enjoys travel and flexibility.

The successful candidate will be committed to upholding Subway's standards, driving team motivation, and consistently meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) set by HQ.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Regional Leadership & Communication: Acts as the key conduit between the GM, Subway MFPs, and store teams—ensuring seamless communication, alignment on operational changes, and maintaining relationships with local councils for food safety compliance.

Operational Excellence & Compliance Oversight: Drives high standards across all stores by monitoring compliance through REV’s, CAP reports, coaching logs, and 10 MWTs. Reviews labour budgets, rostering, and trading hours to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Team Development & Performance Management: Provides coaching, mentoring, and training for Area Managers and Store Managers. Conducts performance evaluations, manages disciplinary processes, and plays a key role in recruitment and development of leadership teams.

KPI & Guest Experience Management: Monitors regional KPIs, Medallia feedback, and WISR data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Implements action plans to meet performance targets and ensures exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.

Strategic Support & Ad-Hoc Responsibilities: Chairs weekly management meetings, supports store-level marketing initiatives, and acts as a third-call contact for after-hours incidents. Executes additional tasks as required by the GM or ownership.

Salary and Benefits

Package salary $89,200 ($80,000 + 11.5% SUPER)

Car and fuel benefits are provided upon successful completion of the probationary period.

Holds a valid Australian driver’s license and has access to a car.

Willing to supply a police clearance certificate

Food safety supervisor training certificate
