About the role
Fixed term temporary full time and part time opportunity to provide clinical psychology rehabilitation services to adults at STARS. This position requires high level knowledge of complex conditions, patterns of pathology and use of validated evidence-based assessment and intervention, coupled with high level experience in a range of caseloads inclusive of memory clinic.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver high level clinical psychology clinical services of a complex and varied nature within a variety of settings across STARS in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.
- Apply well-developed communication, consultative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, parents/carers, multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals and agencies in order to meet service goals and enhance health outcomes
- Provide leadership in the provision of evidence-based and patient-centred psychology practice and education, and initiate clinical research and service improvement projects in order to optimise health outcomes.
