Our purpose built state of the art and well resourced Centre is due to open soon in Castle Hill and we are looking for a Chef to work in our fully equipped commercial grade kitchen in a permanent full time role (7:30am to 3:30pm)

To be eligible you will need to demonstrate qualifications in food handling and an understanding of allergies and dietary requirements. You will also need to have relevant cooking or catering experience, preferably in a childcare setting.

All applicants must hold a valid NSW Working with children Check and a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.

What will you do?

Prepare morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for children in line with our menu

Conduct appropriate food checks

Work both independently and as part of a broader team

Effectively adapt meals to cater for diverse dietary requirements

Demonstrate a solid understanding of NSW Food Authority Guidelines

Preparing and cooking a variety of healthy balanced meals and snacks

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen whilst adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
