The Role

Lawson Financial is seeking a capable, commercially astute Management Accountant to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll work across multiple SME clients, supporting their financial decision-making through analysis, reporting, and forecasting. You’ll work closely with our founder/CFO and gain strategic exposure beyond typical in-house accounting roles.

Key Responsibilities

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to sharpen their management accounting skills in a client-facing setting, with a clear pathway toward executive-level advisory.

Deliver monthly management accounts, board reporting and cashflow forecasts

Build financial models and support funding and R&D strategies

Interpret financial data to provide strategic insights

Maintain strong, professional relationships across a diverse client base

What You’ll Need

Degree in Accounting or Finance, plus CA/CPA qualification

Experience in management accounting and reporting

Strong Excel and financial analysis capability

Clear communication and commercial judgement

Interest in external advisory and long-term client engagement
