The Opportunity
Sidekicker is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. You will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the finance function to drive financial efficiency, accuracy and compliance across the business. This is your chance to run the full financial landscape, rather than being confined to a narrow functional silo. You'll mix financial control with commercial acumen to drive strategic decision-making and directly contribute to Sidekicker's growth trajectory.

How You'll Make an Impact & What You'll Do
You'll drive financial excellence across the business. You'll partner with the business to ensure robust financial foundations, including:
Financial Control & Reporting:
Own the general ledger and financial control in a growing and diversified business
Prepare work papers, journals and reporting to allow timely and accurate month-end completion
Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts and board commentary that inform strategic decisions
Prepare FP&A reporting and maintain forward-looking cash flow forecasts
Manage payroll operations for head office employees and coordinate tax lodgements across Australia and NZ
Support the annual audit process and maintain compliance frameworks
Financial Operations:
Ensure financial controls are followed and documented
Conduct ad hoc analyses using large data sets to uncover business insights
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and utilise technology to automate manual processes
About You
What you'll bring
You're a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge and the commercial acumen to make impactful decisions. You thrive in fast-paced environments where precision and deadlines matter, and you're passionate about continuous improvement. Your advanced Excel skills and ability to multitask will be essential, as will your strong interpersonal skills for building lasting business relationships.
Experience
Qualified accountant with current technical knowledge and Big 4 experience preferred
Proven experience delivering core accounting functions and governance frameworks
Technology industry experience is an advantage but not essential
