The Role

• Manage the yard, ensure plant and equipment is stored appropriately for collection or drop off by transport drivers.
• Receiving incoming plant, conducting initial damage inspections and forward details to Customer Service.
• Cooperate with workshop to assist with preparation and processing plant for inspections and servicing.
• Cleaning of all access plant and equipment prior to dispatch.
• Inspection and evaluation of harnesses for continued use. Recording inspections and tagging harnesses for rent or rejection.
• Oversee and assist the safe loading and unloading of plant and equipment onto transports.
• Fuel all diesel machines, maintain yard diesel tank in good and safe working order and arrange for re-filling when required
• Pressure cleaning of plant and equipment prior to servicing and /or dispatch.
• Cleaning of workshop, emptying bins, sweeping floors, collecting rubbish
• install decals on machines as required

Requirements

• Driver’s licence
• forklift licence but not essential
• Previous yard hand experience advantageous but not essential
• Have worked with EWP equipment advantageous but not essential
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility
• Be a self-starter and motivated and reliable individual
