We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Workshop & Yard Hand to support the daily operations of our Demolition workshop and yard. This role involves general equipment upkeep, tool organisation, light maintenance, and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.

This position offers flexible afternoon hours, making it ideal for someone semi-retired or seeking to scale back while remaining active and engaged in meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:

Organise and maintain tools and workshop equipment

Fuel, clean, and prepare plant and machinery for use

Perform minor repairs to tools and small plant where possible

Keep the Demolition yard tidy, safe, and presentable

Assist with general workshop and yard duties as needed

Skills & Experience:

Mechanically minded with a hands-on, practical approach

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Experience in a workshop, maintenance, or machinery-related role preferred

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Forklift licence or other relevant tickets (advantageous but not essential)
