The role

Terkos Driver Training is seeking an experienced and qualified Truck Driver Trainer / Assessor to join our team in Bunbury, WA. As a full-time Truck Driver Trainer / Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet of professional truck drivers are properly trained and assessed to the highest industry standards.

Key responsibilities

Designing, delivering and evaluating training programs for new and existing truck drivers

Conducting both in-classroom and on-road assessments to evaluate driver competency and identify areas for improvement

Providing detailed feedback and coaching to drivers to help them develop their skills and knowledge

Maintaining detailed training records and reports as required by regulatory bodies

Staying up-to-date with changes in regulations, industry best practices and company policies

Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new truck drivers

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in workplace training and assessment, such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and provide feedback to drivers of all skill levels

Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills

Passion for road safety and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of driver training

Current HR or MC truck licence
