About the role

Goldfields Technical Services Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Truck Driver to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across our regional transportation network.

What you'll be doing

Operating heavy vehicles such as rigid trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods between various locations

Performing pre-departure checks and completing all necessary documentation for each delivery

Adhering to all relevant road rules, safety regulations and company policies to ensure the safe transportation of cargo

Maintaining a high standard of customer service and communication with clients and stakeholders

Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required

Reporting any issues or incidents that may occur during transportation

What we're looking for

A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence

Demonstrated experience as a commercial truck driver, preferably within the road transport industry

Strong knowledge of road rules, safety procedures and vehicle maintenance requirements

Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure on-time deliveries

A commitment to safe driving practices and a focus on customer satisfaction

Effective communication and interpersonal skills
