SkyCare Solutions is currently seeking experienced and reliable NDIS support workers to support a young male participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Level 3 based in Geelong.

This participant is a 22-year-old with high support needs and behaviours of concern. He requires active supervision, structure, and patience to support his daily living activities and community access in a safe and meaningful way.

Client requirement: Experience in supporting clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily living tasks including personal care and toileting.

Support with meal preparation, light domestic duties, and routine-based engagement

Accompany to community activities, outings, and therapy appointments

Follow a behaviour-informed care plan and implement safe, positive engagement strategies

Remain vigilant in public spaces and during transport to ensure safety and comfort

Maintain detailed shift notes and incident reports where required

Skills & Experience

Cert III in Disability or a relevant qualification.

Current Driving License.

Police check.

NDIS Worker screening or ability to obtain.

A positive, reliable, empathetic approach to support people of all ages and backgrounds living with a disability.

Demonstrated, proven experience working with individuals who may have complex support needs in different environments.

Proven can do, positive and willing attitude.

Clear and effective communication skills.

Friendly disposition and engaging manner – a sense of humour!.

Initiative and self-motivation.

Flexibility and availability are essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts.
