About the role

dmk concrete is seeking experienced Concreters to join our team in Maitland, NSW. As a Concreter, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of concrete structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and contributing to the successful delivery of our projects. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement within our growing company.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and pouring concrete for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial and industrial construction

Operating and maintaining concrete pumps, mixers, and other specialised equipment

Reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and specifications to ensure accurate and compliant concrete placement

Finishing concrete surfaces using trowels, floats, and other tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance

Collaborating with other tradespeople to coordinate and complete tasks efficiently

Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Concreter or similar role in the construction industry

Strong practical skills and knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficient in the use of concrete equipment, including pumps, mixers, and power tools

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
