Our Café Staff members hold a vital role in the daily functioning of our small local family business, focusing on tending to customer requirements, preparing food and beverages, upholding impeccable cleanliness standards, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all customers. We prioritise our customers' first impressions, so we seek individuals who are not only friendly, well-groomed, and efficient but also possess strong english language skills and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 - 2 years Barista experience, making the perfect latte every time!

Minimum 1 - 2 years Customer Service experience, always delivering an exceptional experience.

Availability and/or: Monday afternoons until 5pm/Wednesday afternoons until 5pm/Thursdays/Sundays until 4:30pm. Availability within these times on an ongoing basis is essential!

Are passionate and have a love for providing exceptional customer service.

Baking and food preparation experience is a bonus.

Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and strong time management skills.

Comfort in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and take a hands-on approach.

Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Responsibilities:

Craft high-quality coffee and prepare other beverages, including milkshakes and smoothies.

Bake and prepare a wide variety of toasties, slices, cookies and truffles.

Greet customers, take orders and process payments.

Building rapport with customers by recognising their preferences to provide a personalised experience.

Additional Information:

The role is casual with an exciting opportunity to secure permanent employment for the right candidate.

This attractive position will include on the job training with the legends at Gigante Coffee.
