This is a Permanent Full Time or Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Position Profile: Working as a member of the multidisciplinary regional Mental Health team, with rostered support to the Mental Health Co Response team, the Aboriginal Mental Health Worker will enhance the accessibility of mental health services to Aboriginal people and communities, through the provision of cultural security and liaison services.
Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Pursuant of Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, the occupant of this position must be of Aboriginal descent.
