About the Role

Davey Water Products is seeking a dynamic Head of Operations to lead and optimize SNOP (Sales & Operations Planning), forecasting, logistics planning, warehousing, and manufacturing oversight at our Scoresby facility. In this pivotal role, you will work closely and collaboratively with Waterco Far East and Waterco Ltd, driving operational excellence and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

SNOP & Forecasting

Lead the development and execution of robust SNOP processes to align demand, supply, and inventory planning.

Oversee demand forecasting to ensure accurate production and inventory planning.

Utilize data-driven approaches and ERP systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational visibility.

Logistics Planning & Warehousing

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize warehousing, transportation, and distribution.

Ensure efficient warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and timely fulfillment.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and improve customer service.

Manufacturing Oversight

Oversee production planning, capacity management, and manufacturing operations.

Ensure operational continuity, quality, and cost-efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Collaboration & Integration

Work closely with teams at Waterco Far East and Waterco Ltd to align operational strategies and share best practices.

Build strong cross-functional relationships to support business objectives.

Identify and implement synergy opportunities to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.

Manage change across Waterco & Davey, ensuring clear communication, cultural alignment, and staff engagement throughout the transition

People & Systems Leadership

Lead, align, and mentor a cross-functional team across the business, building a cohesive and high-performing operations function.

Oversee the harmonization and upgrade of ERP systems, data structures, and reporting tools to support integrated operations

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field

10+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, supply chain, and/or manufacturing, with proven success in post-merger integration or business consolidation.

Deep expertise across supply chain strategy, procurement, production planning, and logistics.

Strong analytical and financial acumen, with a track record of achieving measurable cost savings and operational improvements.

Strong track record in developing and executing integrated operational strategies.

Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience with ERP systems (Epicor & Pronto) and data-driven decision-making.

Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
