We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for a shutdown on July 19th to 26th. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on Rio Tinto sites across WA with an organisation known for its excellent team culture and a strong reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance and support. Ongoing shutdowns are available for the right candidate.

We are offering a $73/hr flat rate, with flights and accommodation included and an additional 12 hours travel allowance.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, specifically on sizers and crushers, working alongside skilled tradespeople in a supportive environment where safety and quality are vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on sizers and crushers
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
• Strip, clean, and assess parts/components
• General mechanical assembly of parts
• Operating hand and power tools as required
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety and adhering to site procedures

Key Requirements:

• Australian qualification in Mechanical Fitting (essential)
• Rio Tinto Induction (essential)
• Confined Space, Working at Heights and White Card tickets (essential)
• Willing to provide a Police Clearance (within last 12 months) and pass a drug & alcohol screen
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety with excellent communication skills
