Are you a highly skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter ready for your next big move? Schlam Cru is on the hunt for experienced MEM HD Fitters to join our Shutdown team on a rewarding 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Role
As a qualified and experienced HD Fitter / Plant Mechanic with previous experience on CAT 793F trucks. Your core responsibilities will involve scheduled and breakdown maintenance, major repairs, and large-scale component change-outs and overhauls on heavy mobile mining equipment.

This role will see you working as part of a designated Schlam Shutdown Cru on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, flying directly in and out of Gudai Darri Airport. You'll be working 12.5-hour days (with 10-hour fly-in/out days).

What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you'll need the following qualifications and experience:

• Trade Qualification - Mobile Plant or equivalent.
• Proven experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing mobile plant, specifically on CAT 793F haul trucks (essential) and/or other major OEMs (CAT, Komatsu, Terex, Hitachi, Liebherr).
• Rio Tinto inducted (willing to obtain)
• High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) with a minimum of Forklift (LF) and/or EWP (Elevating Work Platform) (willing to obtain if necessary).
• C Class Manual Driver's License.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Check.
• Previous mining experience is highly regarded.
