About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician to join our team at Running Gear Automotive Mobile Services' in Smithfield, NSW. This is a full-time position that will involve providing high-quality mobile automotive electrical services to our clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical faults in motor vehicles

Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, ignition systems and vehicle accessories

Use specialised diagnostic equipment and electrical test tools to locate issues

Work with modern vehicle electronic systems including engine management, ABS, airbag and body control systems

Ensure compliance with safety and workplace procedures

Accurately complete service records and job documentation.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Good communication and time-management skills

Australian Driver's License
