The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Graduate of Architecture or registered Architect to join their Brisbane team in a senior design role. You’ll work across a diverse range of projects, guiding teams from concept through to delivery. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, with a focus on high-quality design outcomes that respond to both functional and aesthetic considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop sketch designs and prepare planning application submissions, undertake urban design and master planning tasks, conduct site and contextual analysis

Interpret project briefs and align deliverables with fee proposals

Manage project teams and delegate tasks effectively

Liaise with clients, consultants, councils, and relevant authorities

Ensure design outcomes comply with relevant codes, BCA/NCC, and local council regulations

Contribute to contract documentation and construction administration

Work across all project phases including feasibility, schematic design, design development, town planning, documentation, and delivery

Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in architectural practice

Strong understanding of construction methodology and planning frameworks

Experience leading small teams (3–6 people)

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Excellent communication skills – Visual, verbal, and written

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)

ArchiCAD experience highly regarded (but not essential)
