We’re currently recruiting for a dynamic and hands-on Accountant to join a growing business based on Brisbane’s Northside. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for someone looking to step into a broad and varied accounting role with genuine long-term potential. The client is also open to part-time arrangements for the right candidate (3–4 days/week).

The role:

This position will suit an experienced accountant who’s looking for variety, autonomy, and the chance to grow with a business as it evolves. You’ll be working closely with senior leaders across all facets of the finance function — from the day-to-day to high-level reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

Accounts payable and receivable

Payroll processing and superannuation

Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance

Month-end and management reporting

BAS/IAS and compliance support

Budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis

Contributing to systems/process improvements as the business scales

Who we’re looking for:

An adaptable, self-motivated accountant with a can-do attitude

Solid experience in a similar all-round accounting role

Comfortable juggling priorities in a growing business environment

Experience with Xero (or similar) and confident Excel skills

CPA/CA qualified or working towards (preferred, not essential)
