As the Dietitian in Charge, you will be able to provide, plan and deliver comprehensive, high quality patient care to our regional Griffith communities. About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Dietitian to join us in this crucial role to provide quality services to patients/clients of the Griffith community to meet their health and wellbeing needs.
As the Dietitian in Charge, you will be responsible for:
- professional leadership, guidance and day to day operational and line management of the Nutrition and Dietetic staff
- organisation and provision of a clinical service and coordination of a small group of staff across a regional area.
- independent professional judgement in solving problems and managing complex situations
- effective recruitment, leadership, management, development and performance of your staff

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics, with eligibility for membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and current Accredited Practicing Dietitian Status.
- The ability to provide leadership, manage and motivate staff and ability to work collaboratively, taking leadership in clinical and operational decision making
- The ability to work at Full Time capacity – Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 4:30pm
- Advanced clinical knowledge, skills and experience within dietetics care, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and consumer advocacy.
