About the role
Seeking a proactive and versatile Senior Project Manager to join the Canberra Team and play a key role on the delivery of a Department of Education Construction Project in Moruya.
You'll be part of a collaborative and inclusive team, managing projects from early concept design through to completion. This includes developing project briefs, managing resources and consultants, leading design and procurement activities, and overseeing contract administration to ensure successful project outcomes.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
* Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
* Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
Skills & experience
* Experience in Project Management, design, construction delivery of Department of Education Projects
* Experience in GC21 Contracts
* A Tertiary qualification in a related discipline
* Strong Stakeholder engagement skills
* Professionalism and commercial acumen
* Energy and initiative

* A hybrid Role - Mainly based on Fyshwick and with some site visits to Moruya as required
