Amrick is a leading provider of contract labour and trade services to the construction industry.
We are currently looking for experienced Apprentice Carpenters and Trade Assitants to assist us on projects in Melbourne the surrounding suburbs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist qualified trades with carpentry tasks.

Learn a range of carpentry tasks alongside qualified carpenters.

Learn to study drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures. Examine plans and determine the necessary procedures and time frame required to complete tasks.

Learn to cut materials to specifications outlined in plans to erect frameworks and lay foundations.
Assemble and cut wooden materials to form structures and fittings.

Requirements:

Eager to learn, ask questions and attempt new tasks.

Commitment, drive, a strong work ethic and pride in your work.

Valid White card.

Valid Police Check beneficial but not mandatory.

Own transport.

Full PPE and tools.

Working With Children's check beneficial but not mandatory.

Additional tickets (EWP, Working with Children etc) beneficial but not mandatory.

Job/Package:

Immediate start available.

On-going work and the view of working across various types of projects as well as various stages.

Overtime penalty rates.

Weekly pay cycle.
