The position
The Director (Property and Facilities) leads a department that is tasked with management, operation and maintenance of the School’s physical facilities. Property & Facilities is a department that sits within the Chief Operating Officer portfolio of CGGS. Through appropriate advice, procurement, contract management and service management, the role ensures a safe and efficient school and working environment.
This complex and diverse position oversees the entire facilities and maintenance function of the School, whilst also providing strategic and operational management with respect to the School’s buildings and grounds, plant and machinery, services, fleet and other infrastructure.
This key position plays a lead role in the advice, development, implementation and delivery of the School’s strategic asset management plan, maintenance planning, emergency planning and budget setting.
The position directly supervises a team of grounds people, facilities administration, maintenance and bus drivers.

About Canberra Girls Grammar School
Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) is an independent non-selective Anglican school with an enrolment of approximately 1,600 students.
Spread over two campuses, the School is co-educational from Early Learning to Year 2 and girls only from Years 3 to 12. Boarding facilities are available for girls in Years 7 to 12.
