Assistant Accountant

• $80,000 + super | CBD - hybrid role with 2 days WFH

Looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join a growing business in Sydney CBD with strong potential for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end accounts support including AP/AR, invoicing, expenses, and ad hoc reporting
• Month-end duties and reconciliation
• Maintain and improve financial processes and reporting structures
• Support payroll processing and build coverage across finance functions
• Use of Xero for day-to-day accounting tasks

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong experience with Xero and general accounting systems
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Comfortable working in a flexible, evolving structure
• Must have full working rights and available for an immediate start
