About the role
Moyola Aged Care is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Catering Manager (Aged Care) to lead the Catering team in Tatura, VIC. This full time, Monday to Friday role reports to the Care Services Manager and is responsible for managing all catering operations. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals that meet the individual needs and preferences of our 43 wonderful residents.

What you'll be doing

Plan, organise and oversee all catering operations, including menu planning, food ordering and preparation

Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a high standard of food hygiene

Understand by seeking feedback on what individual residents needs and preferences are.

Lead the catering team, including scheduling, training and performance management

Develop and implement catering strategies to enhance the dining experience for residents

Monitor and control catering budgets to achieve financial targets

Liaise with other departments to understand and meet the needs of residents

Continuously look for ways to improve catering services and resident satisfaction

What we're looking for

Passion for delivering high-quality customer service and enhancing the dining experience

Proven experience as a Catering Manager or similar role in the aged care or healthcare sector

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations

Excellent leadership and people management skills to lead and motivate a catering team

Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with residents, families and other stakeholders

Relevant qualifications in Hospitality, Catering or a related field
